Remodeling Help in Detroit and Nearby

Sweetbehind Remodeling serves homeowners in Detroit, Michigan, and across the Detroit area. We are a referral service. The independent providers in our network do the work, not us.

The region has real weather, and it shapes remodeling. Winters are cold, with deep frost. Summers run hot and humid. Severe thunderstorms, hail and spring flooding can all test a house. Many homes here are frame houses that are decades old, along with bungalows and ranch homes. Full basements with sump pumps are common.

Why does that matter for a kitchen or bath project? Older walls and floors can hide surprises. Damp air asks for good ventilation. A basement bathroom may need extra planning for drainage. A local provider who knows these homes can point out issues early, which helps you avoid costly changes later.

Providers do not all cover the same towns. Some travel farther than others, and some have longer waits in busy seasons. Request a callback to check provider availability for your address.

You can also browse the list of locations on this site to find your town. Pick the one closest to you, read the local notes and see how the process works.

When you are ready, request an estimate. Compare written quotes from more than one provider, and ask before you sign.
